[Progressive House] HOLY SH*T It’s John Dahlbäck | Mysto & Pizzi | Alesso | Laidback Luke

This Monday, us Landlords feel that in light of the missed [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] post last week, its time to make up for that with an equally awesome [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] post for today’s Miscellaneous Mondays! Big releases this week to start up the month of October with very warm tracks from some of the biggest rising [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] producers of 2011. 1) Swedish [HOUSE] producer John Dahlback is killing it with a huge collaboration with Henrik B released back in July. “Senses” is more than just a “Hands-in-the-Air” track, with it’s Big-Room synths, and Trim Acid Goodness! Amazing productions from the pair and definitely worth a listen. 2) Yiruma’s 2001 original, “River Flows in You” gets a dizzying refix from the Swedish powerhouse that is Alesso. Exploding out of Sweden’s massive [HOUSE] scene last year with the three track EP on Joia, Alesso has come to gracefully outshine highly rated [HOUSE] icon’s in a bare year with his distinguished high-energy productions. I digress though. PREVIEW this banger! 3) Attention Tenants! Please give a warm welcome to the talented and beautiful Swedish [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] act that is Dinka (AKA Tamara Maria & Christian Hirt). The Queen of [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] released this single off of her best-selling album titled Tales of the Sun back in July. Packed with dangerously addicting vocals, and a progressive deep [HOUSE] sound, who says Euphoria can’t be a way of living? I say NAY to those that do! 4) Our next track is a DANCE-FLOOR ANNIHILATOR. The pair of producers Mysto & Pizzi have remixed yet another Summer Anthem, “Sunlight”. Originally produced by DJ Antoine featuring the soothing voice of Tom Dice, this refix maintains much of the melodic progression from the original, topped with a sun-splashed piano sound and catchy refrain similar to that of an Avicii production. 5) No other producer I know is as talented or capable as Laidback Luke when it comes to pushing out remixes. Back again with yet another banger of a remix, Patric La Funks original, “Time and Time Again” gets a nice “Trance 2.0” refix with it’s captivating vocals and uplifting synths. I know who has MY #1 vote for the Top100 DJs of 2011! Don’t forget that the rankings WILL be announced sometime with the next few weeks. Exciting stuff 6) And last, but never the least [as a bonus], we’ve decided to throw up a track from one of Electric Basement’s favourite [PROGRESSIVE HOUSE] producers, Thomas Gold. Originally one of his most successful tracks produced back in 2010, Thomas Gold has re-released a rework of his hit single, “Marsch Marsch”. Synth Chords that reverberate throughout coupled with an aptly huge big-room drop of epic proportions have made this rework one of the most anticipated tracks of this frigid month of October! Enjoy the tracks we’ve posted Tenants! Keep that [HOUSE] rocking all night!

[Progressive House] Hardwell | Alesso | Sander van Doorn | Armin van Buuren
Finally, things are starting to pick up speed here at Electric Basement. We recently let you guy sin on our Skrillex ticket giveaway. Don’t forget to check that out if you want to be entered for a chance to win a pair of those bad-boys. We have 5 solid tracks and a mix that will boggle your mind and set you right for that clubbing mood this beautiful Friday night. Perfect way to de-stress after a long and hectic week.

1) First off, we bring to you the sounds of one of the most talented rising DJs of 2011. Only 23 years of age, Hardwell graces us with his latest remix of “In The Air” by Morgan Page, Sultan, and BT. This track is a guaranteed, “Get off your feet and destroy the nearest dancefloor” type of track. The young producer brings a nice progressive punch to the track. 2) Alesso greets us with the second track for tonight with his highly anticipated remix of the summer, “Good Love”. A DEVolution original, the remix itself is VERY uplifting and VERY Alesso to say the least. 3) Gaining support from artists such as David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, and Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn is back with his latest anthem “Drink to Get Drunk. The track is a cluster-fuck of melodic chord progressions and a solid bass line. 4) “Set Fire to The Rain” gets a much need remix from the man that has blown up in a big way this summer; Thomas Gold. Definitely a slow buildup, I can’t stress enough how talented and captivating of a singer Adele is. Thomas Gold adds a nice layer of melodic progression to this track to turn it into one of the Summers biggest anthems. 5) Last, but never least, we bring to you the sounds of Armin van Buuren and Nadia Ali, “Feel So Good” remixed by Tristan Garner. This track is a definite must for every Progressive House set, as the vocals are as infectious as the progression is melodic and captivating. TGIF, cause all of us here at Electric Basement are just about ready to sell our souls for an ounce of sleep. Enjoy the downloads and don’t forget to purchase all the songs when you get a chance to off of Beatport. Keep that [HOUSE] rocking tenants!
