[Dubstep] I Love WOB WOB Ft: Zeds Dead | Felguk | Example | Gemini | Excision

If you can’t tell from the title of this post, I’ve once again fallen in love with the WUB WUBS of [DUBSTEP] after having the honour to preview the 6 tracks below. We’re not the biggest on [DUBSTEP] here at Electric Basement, but let me just say, even I was impressed with todays post! Massive tracks with melodic buildups, but HUGE breakdowns. Let’s get right into today’s listing as I present to you: [DUBSTEP] Wobble Wednesdays, Electric Basement style!

1) Toronto-based [DUBSTEP] duo Zeds Dead are BACK with a remix to “Wild Heart”, a highly anticipated track off of Sabi’s debut album. The voice of Sabi is the perfect intermediate for the DIRTY DROP and FILTHY D&B breaks found in this song. Stick around for 40 seconds and prepare to become mentally disabled (… Not really though). It’s only a preview at this point, but we’ll definitely upload the Studio Version as soon as we get our greedy hands on it. 2 & 3) Straight off of his new album Graduation, we present to you two of Gemini’s singles, “Graduation” and “Vision”. At only 21-years of age, Gemini has taken the UK’s EDM by storm and has become a firm favourite of ours here at Electric Basement with his melodic compositions and powerful breakdowns. Both tracks are absolutely awe-inspiring, with “Graduation” beginning the album with one of the most beautiful piano compositions I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. While, “Vision” offers a much grittier and heavier feel with it’s pronounced drops, violent bass, and powerful break. 4) EVERYONE here at Electric Basement has been HUGE fans of Felguk since day one, and it’s great to see the Brazillian duo experimenting with [DUBSTEP] in their new single, “Plastic Smiles”. This is only made better by the fact that it features the vocals of rising UK-star and MC Example. Turns out the pair of Dirty [ELECTRO-HOUSE] producers can push out some insane [DUBSTEP] productions. Give it a listen and see if you’re not on the Felguk bandwagon by [1:25], there’s plenty of room though. Don’t be shy! 5) My ears are near shot from all the wobbles, but we’re almost there Tenants. This next remix of Toxic Avengers by Redial, “Alien Summer” features a very uplifting and progressive [DUBSTEP] sound, complimented by a DROP that’ll have you shaking in your pants for hours and captivating vocals from the VERY talented Annie. A definite must-have for all playlists! 6) Last, but never the least, we present to you, “Deviance” straight off of Meowingtons Hax Tour Trax with a collaboration between [DUBSTEP] powerhouses Excision & Datsik. Absolutely NO-TIME is wasted in this track with the pair of artists greeting us 20 seconds in with the NASTIEST sounding drop. Pay close attention, and you can really pick out the distinct sounds between the two producers (Excision sound is more SOLID, while Datsik’s sound is more CHOPPY). If you disagree and believe ALL [DUBSTEP] sounds the same, then you good sir, can KISS MY BRIGHT & YELLOW ASS and stick around for tomorrow’s post, cause we have some FRESH NEW productions for you! Enjoy the tracks for today, and as always; Keep that [HOUSE] bumping!
